Over the past decade, VOSD has rescued 30,000 rescues and administered over 3 million treatments. We are home to 1500+ dogs who have no home and no hope, making VOSD the world’s largest no-kill shelter. Through your unwavering support, we have never shied away from accepting needy dogs, we fight for each dog as our own to make them a part of the VOSD family. However, to continue our journey, we require you to fight with us.

Each month we have around 40 dogs coming into the sanctuary from 50+ cities across India. The growth has been fueled by the VOSD philosophy, which treats every dog as if they were our own, ensuring the highest level of care in terms of medical treatment, socialization, living conditions, nutrition, hygiene, and supplies for every single dog.

VOSD’s monthly expenditure is INR 30 Lakh Per month, this is our current breakdown of expenditures to ensure full transparency.

Create your own Corporate Clubs for Dog Lovers

VOSD helps create dog lovers clubs in a company. The clubs seek to give medical and legal support to employees and create fun events around their own dogs as well as the VOSD rescue dogs.

Come visit Us

Employees and Volunteers can visit the Sanctuary for the day, overnight or for several days (our overnight options including guest house and food for up to 20 people). The activities include socializing with our dogs, learning about caring for dogs and handling dogs, provision of medical care, grooming dogs and many other interactive activities.

Volunteers play a crucial effort in sustaining our efforts to provide the best lives for our furry friends. Volunteering at VOSD not only provides an opportunity to directly help animals in need but also fosters a sense of community and purpose. It’s a chance to make a real impact and extend compassion. Additionally, spending quality time with our dogs can help lower stress levels. Interacting with dogs is great for one’s mental health, and is scientifically proven to boost serotonin and dopamine levels.
