NEW DOGS AT VOSD: 3 PET DOGS ORPHANED DUE TO OWNER’S SUDDEN DEATH FIND A NEW HOME AT VOSD

Three pet dogs Patrick, Lima and Ruby were raised by a senior lady living in Bengaluru. Unfortunately, she breathed her last due to an illness, leaving her dogs in despair. The extended family, who had threatened the lady about “annihilating” the dogs in the past too, were quick to throw the poor pooches on the streets upon her demise.

A tenant who witnessed this horror knew she had to intervene because she knew they were incapable of surviving on the streets. So she provided them a temporary shelter and requested VOSD to admit them. We waived off the surrender fee as an exception for this heart-breaking case, and sent our ambulance past 10pm to have the dogs brought to the safety of our sanctuary.

Patrick came with an extensive medical history of being treated for masticatory muscle myositis (MMM), an immune disorder where the facial tissues are destroyed by the body. Our experienced medical team is monitoring him every day to ensure he’s in good health.

The trio has settled into the VOSD Sanctuary & Hospital like it’s been their home for years! If not for our immediate acceptance, the dogs would have suffered miserably on the streets and died with no one to care for them.

VOSD readily admits pet dogs who have been orphaned. We have had such babies come to us all the way from Rajasthan, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai and other cities. We urge you to help us protect & look after for these sweet pooches by contributing towards their food & medical bills: https://vosd.in/active-campaigns/monthly-expenses/. A one-time or monthly donation of INR 5,000 ($65) can help us continue providing world-class care for Patrick, Ruby, Lima and their other doggie friends!
