Gauravi Shirodkar’s life changed in September of 2012, when she found little doggo Chica all alone on the roadside and brought her home. What followed was ten years of companionship, mutual nurturing and joy. She sponsored a meal at VOSD to celebrate the best decade of her life spent with her lovely Chica.
It is widely accepted that caring for dogs brings people multiple health benefits; and Gauravi got to experience them firsthand. “People say I saved Chica’s life because I brought her home, but I always believe that she saved mine,” she said.
The dogs at VOSD are grateful for Gauravi’s kind gesture and are in awe of the strong bond the mother and daughter share. They wish Chica and Gauravi many more years of health and togetherness, and hope they have a very happy 10th anniversary!
