Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the most difficult emotional experiences one can undergo; it is also the most important as it is the very last time one gets to see their pet in embodied form and gets the opportunity to gain some closure and give a dignified funeral to the departed loved one.
VOSD is honoured to give grieving pet parents a way to memorialise the passing of their furry babies. Now you can avail of the VOSD Sanctuary Last Rites for your beloved pet who has passed away.
While VOSD can understand your loss, the fact is that we can’t assuage your anguish. We can, however, help with acceptance and resolution with the VOSD Last Rites. This is based on the fact that rituals can help in the healing process. A funeral can help you and your family members openly express your feelings. It allows you to create a legacy for your beloved dog or cat. It gives you the freedom to act away from people who think it’s inappropriate to hold a funeral for a pet and do what feels right for you.

You have the choice to stay back at the VOSD Sanctuary after the cremation and spend time with our rescued dogs, sharing your pain and heartbreak with kindred souls. Trying to ignore or keep your pain from coming up will only worsen it in the long run. For natural healing, it is necessary to face your grief, and there is perhaps no better way to do it than in the company of hundreds of rescued dogs who have had terrible pasts but are now living a great life at the VOSD Sanctuary.
Option 2: Donate INR 20,000 for VOSD Last Rites, stay over at VOSD ORCHARD, and sponsor one meal for our 1000+ dogs | razorpay.me/@vosd
You can stay back for the day or night after the cremation rituals and also sponsor a meal the next day at VOSD Sanctuary in memory of your beloved pet. Your stay will be in the VOSD’s Orchard, which is half an acre of land with 100+ fruit trees and beautiful birds that visit them throughout the day and night. Our guest house lets you enjoy the views from a cosy sit-out when not lounging inside the comfortable rooms with two single beds, a desk, a connected central sitting area with large sleeper sofas, a modern kitchen, and a modest bathroom with shower. Food and refreshments will be arranged during the stay. Orchard is right beside the Shri Kaal Bhairav Prasanna Temple, where you can offer prayers for your dearly loved pets.
