Oh! What a brilliant day it is for us and the three beautiful dogs rescued by VOSD Pune. Max, Johnny and Queen have finally reached our sanctuary in Bengaluru and we are so thrilled! The babies endured a long journey from being rescued, to spending weeks in boarding and the drive from Pune to us. We’re super proud of them for being so strong!

Max is a cruelty survivor – this handsome Indian mixed breed stray dog was so severely ill-treated and beaten repeatedly for years that he ended up biting his abusers. He was on the verge of being killed due to this provoked attack, but was saved in the nick of time by VOSD Pune.
Queen the German Shepherd who was used and rejected by backyard breeders was dumped on the streets when the heartless humans didn’t need her anymore. A body filled with ticks and fleas, and maggot-infested wounds on her neck, Queen wouldn’t have lived if not rescued.
Pet dog Johnny was abandoned and left all alone on the streets by his family during the pandemic lockdown this year. He is among the countless animals who became homeless during this period, but now has hope of a better future at VOSD Sanctuary & Hospital.
