On March 22nd 2023, the VOSD Mobile Veterinary Clinic Drive for pet and stray dogs was conducted at Da Costa Square and Fraser Town, Bengaluru. The crew for each drive consists of a KVC-registered veterinarian Dr. Manu Mathew (honorary veterinarian, VOSD), and a team of para veterinarians trained by VOSD, skilled groomers, and experienced dog behaviourists.
Services provided for pet and stray dogs by the VOSD Mobile Veterinary Clinic presently include:
VETERINARY SERVICES
• Anti-rabies vaccinations at no cost for stray dogs and ₹100 for pet dogs
• DLHPPi at ₹499 for stray dogs and ₹999 for pet dogs
• Physical medical examination at no cost for stray dogs and ₹300 for pet dogs
DIAGNOSTICS
Comprehensive blood tests including CBC + LFT + KFT at ₹1500 for pet dogs and ₹500 for stray dogs. Blood reports are sent within 24-48 hours via WhatsApp / email to customers
GROOMING SERVICES
Grooming inclusive of bath & blow dry, brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning at no cost for stray dogs and between ₹500-1000 for pet dogs (depending on size and breed of the dog)
VOSD CUSTOMER CARE MANAGEMENT
• Vaccination & treatments records and prescriptions are provided for each dog
• Files with the owner/caretaker details and medical case history of the dog(s) are maintained by VOSD
• All interactions are recorded and managed by a manned helpdesk
