My name is Duke. I have lived all my life on the streets of Pune city. I have faced hatred, attacks from humans and also suffered from diseases, hunger, and starvation. There are a few good people who help me whenever I get sick or hurt and feed me when they can. It has been a tough life on the streets and now am old and tired of the struggle. I met with an accident recently as I can’t walk fast on the roads due to arthritis. Now my front and hind legs are swollen and are in terrible pain.
Thanks to the people from VOSD Pune I was rushed to a hospital for treatment and then to a pet boarding where I will stay till I recover. After that, I might have to go back on these cruel streets.
