An ardent dog lover Atishma Vashisth had begun caring for a family of strays – a mother and her five babies. On an unfortunate day, when she was out feeding them, a horse cart ran over one of the pups whom she had named Bhura. Fighting for his life in her arms, she rushed him to a vet but it was too late and the baby passed away. Heartbroken and wondering why this world is so cruel to strays, she bid him a teary farewell and laid him to rest.
In Bhura’s memory, she sponsored a meal at VOSD for our canine residents, and we’re so grateful for her thoughtfulness and kindness. Please accept our condolences, and we join you in praying that baby Bhura is in a happier place today, running around on his tiny paws. Our dogs send him lots of love and hugs.
