An old stray dog led a life of struggle on the streets of Bangalore. The poor pooch suffered from a skin infection that had caused him to lose most of his fur, he was weak and infirm due to his advancing years and didn’t have access to proper food or care. In short, all odds were stacked against Jimmy and the situation would only get much more dire with time. A kind rescuer noticed Jimmy’s plight and figured the old dog really needed a home and medical care.
He approached VOSD and we were happy to admit Jimmy to VOSD Hospice. VOSD takes in old stray dogs for end-of-life care without any surrender fee.
And so, Jimmy came to his forever home VOSD and we began treatment for his serious skin infection immediately. Jimmy gets regular medicated baths and VOSD 6-in-1 dog body lotion is applied to his skin daily. He has been put on a nutritious diet to ensure overall well-being, supplements to boost healing of his skin issues, and VOSD’s joint care supplements for his weak hind limbs.
Jimmy’s social life is also thriving at VOSD. He loves being around other dogs and adores his caretakers. He is well-fed, pain-free and with family now; where all his needs will be met till the end of his life.
