The Smithsonian’s National Zoo is home to three adorable Giant Pandas. To show their daily routine to viewers across the globe, they launched an online live streaming platform called the Panda Cam. Well, at the VOSD Sanctuary & Hospital we might not be able to go live but we still wanted to show our patrons and dog lovers what our pooches do every day – so here’s a sneak peek into the life of Tyson, one of our residents!
His day starts off with a mighty yaaaawn, followed by a strict yoga session with his tutor Koyla. And then it’s down to meal time followed by not one but many rounds of playing. He’s also a great guy… quite the catch actually, as Dora his girlfriend believes. They’re both cruelty survivors but found a way past their trauma with each other’s company. The duo goes for strolls within our lush green sanctuary, and engage in adorable cuddle session – that are at times interrupted by third-wheels such as Kariya 😛
And so Tyson’s days go, filled with entertainment, fun, play sessions and hogging competitions to see which dog can eat more. Overall, we can confidently say that he is a happy dog who loves his life at the VOSD Sanctuary & Hospital, as do hundreds of his other canine friends.
