Inspired by the teachings of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba, His ardent devotee Sudha Madhuri sponsored today’s meals at VOSD. Sai Baba is known for His teachings on love and compassion towards all, so she felt the best way to honour His lessons is through ‘anna daman’ or the sacred offering of food for hundreds of dogs.
Many of our wards have been rescued from near-death situations, neglect, abuse, abandonment or from the streets. By sponsoring meals for them, Sudha has gifted them good health and happiness. We’re truly grateful that she supported our work for India’s vulnerable and voiceless dogs.
