Life throws unexpected curveballs at us, sometimes severely emotionally distressing. A family in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, recently underwent a huge loss in their business when they got cheated by an associate, leaving the family shattered. Two innocent beings got caught in this mess for no fault of theirs – the family’s beloved pet dogs Guru and Jubo.
Seven-year-old Labrador Guru and his German Shepherd brother Jubo who is six years old were dearly loved by the family. However, they were forced to surrender the dogs to VOSD due to the dire situation. The family were to relocate from Guntur, and had no option of taking the dogs with them. With a heavy heart, they bid goodbye to the two dogs.
We were informed that Guru is extremely friendly and a very loving dog who loves walking up to people for pats. The sweet kid also loves to “shake hands” in exchange for a treat! Jubo on the other hand exhibits a typical guarding behaviour – he prefers solitude and doesn’t like strangers petting or touching him. But even this highly disciplined and intelligent dog has a sweet spot… his neck! He loves to be rubbed under his chin and can flop over like a baby for scratchies!
