Mashooka is a beautiful stray dog who has developed a massive tumour. VOSD Pune team picked her up from the streets to get her treated. It was found that she had a severe lung infection too for which she was treated. Currently, she is in pet boarding awaiting further medical tests and checkups. Once the Doctor confirms that she can go through surgery, we will get her operated on.
Mashooka is very scared of people. This behaviour is common in stray dogs as they face constant abuse and cruelty from people on the streets. She shivers uncontrollably if touched so it has been a difficult task taking her to and from vet hospitals. Still many medical checkups are remaining and we really hope she starts trusting our handlers and caregiving team at the pet boarding.
