Nidhi rescued Lily, from a breeder, and brought her home four years ago on February 22, 2019. Unfortunately, the sweet dog passed away on May 29, 2022, at the age of ten, leaving a gaping void in her dog’s mom’s heart.
Nidhi was most saddened by the fact that her darling pooch had to spend most years of her life (six) in dismal conditions with a breeder. “Lily deserved more love and help than I could give her and none of the pain that she had to endure during the last days of her life,” she said. Had Lily been alive today, Nidhi and she would have shared four years of togetherness.
The dear dog changed her Mom’s life and gave her hope. She is the reason Nidhi became an animal lover; and so, in loving memory of her beloved Lily, Nidhi has shared full-day meals at VOSD.
Our babies are extremely grateful for the kind gesture. They are deeply grieved to hear about Lily’s demise and offer their heartfelt condolences. They pray for the departed soul and send peace and comfort to Nidhi.
